On this Trinity Sunday, there is a Saint from the Order of the Most Holy Trinity (“Trinitarians”), I would like to introduce to you. St. Michael of the Saints was a Trinitarian Priest with a special devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and he would spend days and nights before Our Eucharistic Lord in prayer. St. Michael died at the young age of 33 in 1625 and was canonized in 1862.
St. Michael is a patron saint for those suffering from cancer. Many of us have been touched by those who struggle with cancer, so I pray for the intercession of St. Michael every day. St. Michael’s Feast Day is June 8. Divine Mercy Parish will hold a nine-day St. Michael of the Saints Novena starting on May 31, 2021 until June 8, 2021 for those ill with cancer. We will pray the novena after daily noon Mass and 10:00 am Sunday Mass on June 6, 2021. There are prayer cards and copies of the novena in the back of the Church. Please feel free to pray the novena with us or at home. Blessed be the Most Holy Trinity!
